Dove Bible Club invited to participate in National Music Video Recording for “Get Together”
Melbourne, FL – Dove Bible Club, which is dedicated to teaching children how to become more like Jesus: at school, at home and in their community and which meets now in more than 30 Brevard county schools, was invited, by the Producers of Narada Michael Walden’s “Great Gospel Show” to participate in the national music video recording for his new single “Get Together.” (GetTogetherSong.com)
More than 30 kids, who participate in Dove Bible Club meetings, around the Space Coast area of Florida, were invited to a special meeting at Jupiter Elementary School, July 24th 2018, in Palm Bay FL, for a national music video taping “sing-a-long” (“Come on People Now, Let’s Get Together”) for Narada’s latest single release – a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the pop favorite.
Drawing upon the “Love Another” message of John 13:34 – “Get Together” got its lift from a Radio Public Service announcement as a call for brotherhood by the National Conference of Christians and Jews. Soon after, Jesse Colin Young and his band, the YoungBloods rocketed it up the Pop Charts to #5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Multi-Platinum Grammy & Emmy winning Producer/Recording Artist Narada Michael Walden (often called the “Hitmaker” – instrumental in careers of many greats like Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin) and Joli Valenti, Narada’s great friend and featured vocalist, present a fresh, easy-to-enjoy, and up-to-the-minute contemporary arrangement that captures all the love and musical healing power of the 1968 version while presenting a deliberate take on the song driving relevance for today.
(Joli’s Dad, Dino Valenti of Quicksilver Messenger Service fame, penned this classic and the spirit of the song made it a worldwide anthem for togetherness ever since.) The “Get Together” Music Video, set to be released early 2019, features sing-a-longs to the song’s catchy refrain.
Dove Bible Club (DoveBibleClub.org) is sharing the good news of Jesus Christ through after school programs with students in grades K-6. It is a fun, exciting and adventurous club that uses the New Testament of the Bible to affirm, encourage and support students in their intellectual, behavioral, and spiritual development. Students enjoy prayer, reading the Bible, dancing unto the Lord, singing Bible songs, learning Bible scriptures, watching Bible videos and hearing about the love of Jesus Christ. Meetings are held monthly for Elementary students on their school campus throughout Brevard County.
Loretta Dozier, the founder of Dove Bible Club, has a passion to see children and their families come to know Christ as their personal Savior and see lives changed through God’s love. Loretta and her team have devoted many years of prayer, research and time to see this vision unfold. Their prayer is to see Dove Bible Club in every Brevard county school, and also that this mission would become possible in other counties, states and countries.
